lovault ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application ("the App").
Important for AI Transparency: lovault uses third-party AI services to generate high-EQ reply suggestions. We prioritize your privacy and provide granular controls over how your data is handled.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
- User Content (Text & Screenshots): To generate reply suggestions, you may input text or upload chat screenshots.
- Text Data: We process the text you provide to generate emotionally intelligent responses.
- Image Data: Screenshots are used for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to extract conversation context.
- Enhanced Privacy Protection (User Control): In the App's settings, you can enable "Enhanced Privacy Protection." When enabled:
- Screen recognition (OCR) is performed entirely on-device.
- NO image/screenshot data is ever sent to our AI service providers.
- Only the extracted text fragments are sent to the AI to generate replies.
2. Third-Party AI Services and Data Sharing
To provide high-quality AI generation, we partner with specialized AI service providers. We only share text-based data required for generation.
- Identify of Providers: We may transmit data to DeepSeek, Google (Gemini), and OpenAI (ChatGPT).
- No-Training Commitment: We have verified that our AI service providers do NOT use any data transmitted from lovault to train their large language models. Your data remains ephemeral and is used solely for your specific request.
- Data Protection: These providers are contractually and technically bound to provide the same or equal protection of your personal data as outlined in this policy.
3. Data Usage Restrictions
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Data shared with AI providers is strictly limited to:
- Processing your immediate request for a reply suggestion.
- Contextual memory (if enabled) to ensure the reply matches your conversation history.
4. Data Retention
All user-provided text and screenshots processed by AI services are ephemeral. They are automatically deleted from our service providers' systems within 24 hours of processing. We do not maintain long-term logs of your private conversations on our servers.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. By using lovault’s AI features, you provide explicit consent for the App to transmit the necessary data to the third-party providers listed above. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
